lufthansa 747 business class review

flight from Frankfurt to New York in Business. Lounge in terminal 1C -Comparing with British Airways, another 4 star airline, here is where Lufthansa falls short. Frankfurt lounges are too cramped and have shoddy service for the number of passengers that pass through. Food almost non existent, drinks were fine. - does not feel like a lounge, more like a waiting room in a European station. only positive about this lounge was that it has a direct boarding gate. I don't understand why we still have to pay for the internet connection in the lounge. Onboard food and drinks was standard, nothing special. Service polite and efficient. main deck J class Seating arrangement was 2-3-2,the 747 has 80 business class seats which makes the service impersonal. The seat was comfortable but angled flat bed kept on sliding down when fully reclined. Fair AVOD selection. Toilets on all aircraft - A330-300, A340-300/600, B747-400 - the number of toilets were not enough and besides the MUC-JFK leg, none of the toilets were kept clean as they should on a 4-star airline. The amenity kit comes in what appears to be a shoe-bag, although I’ve never seen anyone use it for that in-flight. Its contents were very limited – eyeshades, socks, toothbrush and toothpaste. There was moisturizer and mouthwash available in the lavatories. (LH does not offer pajamas.)
.
Overall a smooth flight however nothing special and very standard However, I will try and avoid B747 flights if possible.

lufthansa A321 business class short haul

short haul c class lufthansa airlines
Business Class seats on this A321 where standard economy three across seats with the middle seat blocked. The C seats are not very good in my opinion because you have quite limited legroom and the seats do not recline very much. seat pitch is the same as coach class, There is no AVOD / personal video screens on these planes. Crew nice and professional. catering was ok. we were served bread, a Chocolate Brownie slice plus a very nice selection (from a basket) of chocolates.

Lufthansa a340 600 coach class transatlantic flights

Flights San Francisco Munich
Lufthansa is about the norm for economy transatlantic flights. It's not something I look forward to, but is bearable,We found seats comfortable by coach class standards with sufficient leg room for a 6’2” passenger. Meal and beverage service fine (dinner and supper according to the airline). IFE system had not been updated since our flight the month prior; however, since we had been on a night flight to Germany, there was more than enough new material to keep us occupied. We were impressed that Lufthansa located the economy restrooms downstairs from the cabin. This configuration seemed to alleviate the issues with people standing in the aisles waiting for the restrooms. Throughout the flight, self-service juice, water and snacks were available. more leg room would be better. The best would be the bulkhead or the 2x3x2 section behind the 2x4x2 (middle seats) at the back.
