lufthansa MUC-LAX-FRA C class review
MUC-LAX-FRA C class. The seat is unconfortable in the flat position but okay in the other ones. Amenity kits were different both ways and very basic. No amenities in the toilettes. AVOD system is working but a bit complicated and selection of movies also basic. The meal, nothing special to talk about for a business class. The service, though it is up to the mood of the staff in that particular day, was efficient - but that's it. On disembarking, on both ways (LAX and FRA) the C and F class were beyond all others passengers due to only one door open, but none of the cabin crew seemed to care. The money you pay for a C seat is not worth it

lufthansa us to germany First class review
Recently traveled business class with Lufthansa on a number of flights which included North America to Europe and 2 segments within the EU. Was pleasantly surprised by all the service from crew members as we found everyone friendly and helpful in all instances.
FRA-BOS First. F-Class Terminal at FRA is very good, with an extensive range of food & drink. Personalised pax reception and handling perfect. Transfer by luxury car to the aircraft is nice. Once onboard, however, the story changes. No words of welcome, no helping with coat or hand-luggage etc, overhead bins full of C-class hand-luggage. When told about the zero space, instead of making space be removing said baggage to the owners' cabin, my bag was just taken away somewhere with the words "you won't be needing this during the flight"! Hardly a F class attitude, I thought. The seats on their A340's are not overly-comfortable. Welcome drink was pink Champagne, no white available. I thought this would be rectified later but it wasn't to be : no white Champagne was available at all. When I questioned the wisdom of this, I was told "it clearly states in the menu that Champagne will be white or pink". After I and other pax suggested the Fa's have a look in C-class to see if there was anything there, a bottle of mediocre white was produced. Food quite poor. Service not much better (including a wonderful moment when the FA had problems arranging my salad on the plate and, without a second thought, proceeded to finish it off by using her hands – retrieving leaves that had fallen off the plate and then putting them back on the plate! For any cabin class, I find this behaviour appalling. It makes one wonder what happens behind the scenes. Portions small. I'm pleased I ate a small meal in the lounge before departure, otherwise I would have been hungry by the time we arrived in Boston. Wine selection very small indeed, hardly a "selection" and arguably F- class. The main item in the miniature amenity-bag was an ad trying to get pax to purchase the matching suitcases. Overall, the experience for me was more akin to a long-haul charter business- class product. Quite honestly, it amazes me how LH can get away with calling it F-class. In my view, the only really good thing about the product, is the First Terminal at Frankfurt but even this cannot possibly warrant paying the difference between C and F

Lufthansa Miami to Berlin Long-haul coach Review
Miami to Berlin via Dusseldorf return on the A340-300 coach for under $600. On the way over, we had free alcohol, a delicious meal. Service was paced, not frantic in order to get it over with. No individual inflight entertainment but video monitors. Hot breakfast of an omlette, sausage, etc. Return was similar, two hot full-meals.
Seats are comfortable, and able to sleep on both transatlantic flights
Because I pre-ordered a diabetic meal, the flight attendants, addressing me by name, repeatedly asked if they needed to have special instructions, such as did I have to eat right away, or when to serve me. After years of American, Delta and Northwest across the Atlantic I was stunned that such service still existed. The seats were slightly uncomfortable and pitch maybe 32 inches and no in-seat movies. I hated transiting MIA however, because of the TSA and passport/customs attitude problems there

Lufthansa airbus long haul flight review
Although Lufthansa don't offer in-flight entertainment on short-haul flights, they still pride themselves on offering quality food to all passengers on all flights.
First and business class passengers enjoy quality menus and fine wines as part of the airline's "Connoisseurs on Board" service concept. And all passengers can choose from the airline's 26 special menus.
The European carriers are really bringing down their coach products. I flew on a brand-new LH A340 two years ago when a late LH flight missed my connection to UA in FRA and they put me on their next flight to IAD instead of the next UA flight. The plane had no personal video in coach, the weirdest food I've ever encountered on a plane (true mystery meat), and bad legroom. The only thing they have going for them vis-a-vis the US carriers is free alcohol
We flew LH from EWR to Frankfurt and back and did have the seat back video screens, (although, some of the transatlantic flights do not have them) the food was good and so was the legroom. They have those awesome seats where the person in front of you can't recline and squish your legs because the back of the seat doesn't go back, the part of the seat you sit on goes forward. If you want to recline, you are only annoying yourself, really. The plane looked brand new, actually. We were in the mid thirties, row wise. It was a 2-4-2 seating configuration. Of course the exit rows are great, all that extra legroom. We will be flying with them again next week to Dusseldorf.

lufthansa business class trans-atlantic flights review
I have flown lufthansa business class several times, though on different routes, trans-atlantic flights.
Business class is nice, service was good and efficient (though not always the "friendliest'" or "personable"), food was ok. The business seats are quite comfortable for sitting and relaxing, eating, etc. However if you want to sleep, you should note they are not horizontal lie flat, they go flat on an angle, so you tend to slide down the bed. Also note that for use of lounges, unless you are mile and more alliance gold flyer, you only get use of business lounge (not senator lounge), the business lounges are more crowded and somewhat run down as compared to the first class (senator/gold) lounge.

Selecting seat on your flight with agent
As a former travel consultant can I just say that if you started the process through an agent, then make all future dealings (eg seat requests) through the agent. It's a recipe for confusion if you start doing some things with the agent and others with the airline direct.
Just call the agent, they can book the seat for you. You can use seatguru to figure out what seat would be preferrable. If not, the agent can see the seatmap and arrange a seating number for you.
The agent should have given you a full itinerary (which should have included your booking reference) as soon as your flights were confirmed.

Lufthansa b747 vs a340 comfort
It depends. For economy, the layout for the 747 is usually 3-4-3 while in the airbus A340 it is typically 2-4-2. In the rear end of the b747 though, there are several seats that are 2-4-2 configuration.Seat pitch varies with airlines. But airbuses and 777s tend to have a slightly wider seat which makews quite a difference. 747s seem to have the narrowest seat width.
I just flew Lufthansa from Chicago Frankfurt on airbus 340-it is a wonderful aircraft-without a doubt, better than the Boeing 747
I find them pretty much to be similar...but some say the A340 is quiet. It also would depend on how much the load is on your flight

Lufthansa 737 500 economy class cabin picture
737-500 variant, are used on routes throughout Europe and Northern Africa. The flights between BHX and FRA are usually operated by both 737 variants. Lufthansa’s 737-500s seat 111 passengers in a variable two class configuration, making it smallest aircraft in Lufthansa’s mainline fleet at this point in time.

flight time san franshico to Paris
flight from SFO to Paris was about 10 hours nonstop or a bit more. Coming back was a little over 11 hours.
I flew on a direct flight from Vancouver (Canada) to Frankfurt, and it took ten hours. I would expect that your flight to France would be a little bit longer than that
Remember published flight times are "padded" to adsorb delays and just in case of bad head winds. They're the longest *possible* flight times.
If you leave CA at 11pm, you'll get to Paris 9am the next day
Most SFO/CDG flights leave in the afternoon, arriving in Paris in the morning

Frankfurt airport customs time
on average it took usually 20-30 minutes from the time I was off the plane and got my luggage first which can take just as long too. Customs usually don`t take as long as for example in the U.S. or Canada Once you have it if you have nothing to declare you go right to the line and if your not a EU Citizen you have a seperate line to go in and so long as there are not too many non EU the line will go fast in most cases. I think twice it took longer for the person was trying to get in one time with no passport!! You have over 1 hour time and this will be enough. When you get out the airplane, you need to go for the passport control, than get the luggage, and the train station is under the airport,
Once I was stamped I was in the hallways and made my way to back then the S Bahn to the H-Bahn but now you can take the R-Bahn from the airport now and go to which ever area you want, you don't have to shuttle over to the main Hauptbahnhof anymore from Frankfurt.
So say an hour total with luggage wait before you exit to a train or what ever. This is different of course if you have a connecting flight then you dont have to worry about luggage hopefully if it is transfered properly and hence customs is much faster then

Flights toronto to frankfurt cheap tickets
I recommand you to search for Iceland air, it's the cheapest I can think of. Also, flying to london doesn't make the price lower, it's true. Here are the cheapest airlines I found, (NO.1 cheapest etc..)You're in luck that Icelandair serves YYZ & FRA, so you can go thru Reykjavik and save some money. I searched July 1st-15th and got $935 USD roundtrip, including taxes. Jump on that
1. Iceland air..about 750 Euro, stops at Reykyavick
2. Lufthansa..about 1000 Euro, NON-STOP
3. Air Canada..about 1000 Euro, NON-STOP
4. Air France..some more than 1000 Euro, stops at Paris CDG
5. American Airlines..about 1100 Euro, stops at Chicago O'Hare

flight time from montreal to frankfurt germany
A direct flight Montreal - Frankfurt ( Lufthansa) lasts approximately 7hrs 20min.
This is only the flight's duration without check-in, luggage claim, customs, etc
Nonstop travel time with Air Canada ( departing from YUL ) is 7:15hrs.
Flights with one change of plane need 9 hrs and more. That all depends whether the flight you'd be taking has stopover(s) or is a direct one.

flight time Frankfurt to chicago
We left from NC to go to Frankfort Germany. We had to change planes in Atlanta Ga and the flight was 10 hours
If you're flying nonstop, then the flight is a little over 8 hours from Chicago to Frankfurt - about 9 hours returning from Frankfurt to Chicago. (It always takes longer from Europe to North America because of the headwinds).
depending which nonstop flight you choose. This is O'Hare *to* Frankfurt. Fastest scheduled is Lufthansa flight 431; slowest is American flight 84. United, Lufthansa, and Air India have other nonstop flights on this route between 8h, 15m and 8h, 30m.
